The food bus is back!

Every Friday, leftover food from Franklin Sherman is gathered and taken across the street to the food pantry at SHARE. This weekly effort is an important source of food for local families who depend on SHARE, and one of their only sources of donated dairy products. We are incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to help our neighbors while teaching our children about generosity, community service, and reducing food waste.

Would your family like to be part of it? Kids are encouraged to participate, making this a wonderful and very tangible way for them to see how a small amount of time can make a meaningful difference for another family.

Every Friday, the leftover food is gathered up and taken across the street to the food pantry at SHARE. Does your family want to get involved and help with this wonderful initiative? If so, please join us for a training session. Reach out to Lisa at lisagrochford@gmail.com.

If you already know how to do the food bus and want to sign up for a date (or several dates!), you can do so here. This will run every Friday that there is school throughout the year.
