Science Olympiad Is Coming Back to Franklin Sherman!

Get ready for another exciting year of Science Olympiad at Franklin Sherman Elementary!

Franklin Sherman will once again field Science Olympiad teams this year, giving students the opportunity to explore science, work as a team, solve problems, and compete with students from across the region.

This year, we hope to offer both Division A (grades 3–5) and Division B (grades 5–8). Division A teams will compete regionally, while Division B students will have the opportunity to advance to state and national competitions.

Interested in Getting Involved?

Science Olympiad is a team effort, and parent involvement is an important part of making the program successful. Parents interested in helping lead either division are encouraged to contact Neelima at reddy.neelima@gmail.com.

All participating families should also be prepared to help with after-school preparation, which is an important part of getting our teams ready for competition.

Which Division Is Right for Your Student?

• Division A: Grades 3–5

• Division B: Grades 5–8

• 5th graders who participated in Science Olympiad last year may join Division B this year.
