MONSTER MASH DASH
Get ready for the annual Monster Mash Dash! We are thrilled to bring our families, friends, and neighbors together for a fantastic morning of fitness, fun, and school spirit. Check out all the event details below and lace up your running shoes!
Run, Walk & Support Franklin Sherman The Monster Mash Dash (MMD) is a fun fall tradition that brings Franklin Sherman families, friends, and the wider community together for a morning of running, walking, costumes, and Panda spirit. Register to Run or Walk Join your Franklin Sherman friends at the Monster Mash Dash! Sunday, October 25! 5K Race: 8:00 AM 1-Mile Race: 9:00 AM Costumes encouraged!
FSES Food Bus is BACK! Sign Up Today.
Every Friday, leftover food from Franklin Sherman is gathered and taken across the street to the food pantry at SHARE. This weekly effort is an important source of food for local families who depend on SHARE, and one of their only sources of donated dairy products.
We are incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to help our neighbors while teaching our children about generosity, community service, and reducing food waste.
Missed the training last week but still want to help? Reach out to Lisa at lisagrochford@gmail.com and she will help get you trained. Already know how to do the Food Bus? We need families throughout the school year! You can sign up for a Friday here or choose several dates. The Food Bus runs every Friday that school is in session.

FSES Movie Night: October 16th!
Pre-Order your PIZZA today
Movie night is coming up on Friday, Oct. 16. If you would like to pre-order pizza to pick up at the event, please order it at the link here. Pizza will be available for pre-order ONLY and will not be sold at the event. We will have concessions for sale at the event (candy, popcorn, drinks), or bring your own food. The event begins at 5:30 pm for you to grab a spot and set up your blankets or chairs, and the movie will start between 6:15-6:30 pm (as soon as it gets dark enough).
We still need volunteers to help at movie night, especially from 7-9 pm. Please send to your high school neighbors/friends with teens, or volunteer yourself! Sign up here.

In addition to Movie Night, we are also looking for high school volunteers for our PTA Meeting and Academic Showcase. Please send this to interested teens!
School Play Casting
Seussical will be this year's school musical! Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 4-7 pm Practice will be Fridays after school.
NEW FSES Spiritwear Store!
Fridays are School Spirit Fridays this year! Students are encouraged to wear their class shirt, FSES colors, or FSES gear and show off their Panda Pride.
Check out our NEW Spiritwear Store, filled with fun options for students, parents, and the whole Panda community. Every purchase helps support our school and PTA programs. Rep your school & support our Pandas!
